Smt. Shushiladevi Gupta Charitable Trust was established with an aim to serve the uplift of rural and tribe community living in nearby villages in various aspects of life. The objective of the Trust includes planning and implementation of welfare programmes for underdeveloped communities, especially in Valsad, Dharampur, Vansda, Kaprada, Dang, Ahwa, Vyara, and Songadh.
Since inception, SSGCT has been carrying out activities in the area of Healthcare, Agriculture Development, Vocational Training, Self-Employment, Housing, and Education in Adivasi areas located remote from Valsad & Surat. In recent years, SSGCT has been engaged in welfare activities for the backward women and school children in villages surrounding South Gujarat.

Vishal Gupta is the visionary founder and driving force behind Smt. Shushiladevi Gupta Charitable Trust. With over two decades of dedicated service in corporate social responsibility and grassroots development, he has transformed thousands of lives across South Gujarat's most underserved communities.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vishal Gupta emerged as a true Corona Warrior, leading a team of volunteers at civil hospitals to serve corona patients and distributing essential supplies to affected families. His leadership during the crisis earned him government recognition and the gratitude of countless families.
Under his guidance, SSGCT has expanded its reach across 8+ talukas, establishing 400+ training centres, providing 2 million+ meals, and empowering 10,000+ women with self-employment skills. His work has been recognized at the highest levels, including meetings with Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani.

Importance Of Education Is Well-known. It Not Only Helps The Child To Realize His Potentialities But Also Awakes Awareness Over The Baseless Beliefs And Practices Common In The Tribe Area. Working In Tandem With Governmental And Non-governmental Agencies, Ssgct Has Created The Requisite Infrastructure Including School Building, Building Repairs, Sanitation And Drinking Water Facilities. Supplying Educational Material To School Children And Providing Meals To Poor Students In Remote Villages Has Been A Significant Contribution. Computer Education, Spoken Classes, Business Training, Personality Development, Sewing Classes, Beauty Parlor, Motikam, Tikkikam, Mobile Repairing Etc.
